The motor was a CTI 38mm 1 grain G69, it would appear that upon ignition part of the grain exploded forcing the rear closure and nozzle out the back. The rear closure and nozzle were shattered and the threaded section of the case flared outward, the delay grain didn't ignite. The bulk of the grain didnt ignite and was visible in photos flying of into the fields however was not found.
