description
Weak ejection charge; the nose cone and most of the shock cord came out, but the parachute and wadding didn't. Body tube is a BT-60 size, wadding and parachute was packed very loosely. On examining the motor after recovering the model, a lot of charred debris with a "burnt popcorn" smell was noticed from the forward end of the motor. Since the model basically fell in a "blow nose" type recovery, and the ground surface at the launch site was relatively soft, no damage was visible on the model (A Space X Falcon - 9 scale model).
