description
Very hard to light. I had to insert a sliver of Blue Thunder propellant to get this motor to light. It was the third attempt. It took 2 or 3 seconds to come up to pressure. When it finally did it lifted the rocket only 15 to 20 feet in the air. It sounded weak all the way and there was no evidence of the white flame and smoke White Lightning is known for. The loaded rocket weighed 89 grams and according to Thrustcurve an Estes B6 should get 52 meters altitude with that rocket. This motor should have performed better than it did in my opinion. These motors are very hard to light and the tiny ignitor has little pyrogen. Is this really a viable product for the Model Rocket market?
