Just about at burnout the rocket popped the nose cone off (but not the chute out) and kicked the motor out the back end.
The motor and retainer were found on the range without any forward closure. The forward closure was found in the recovery insulation. The ejection charge was still present, the delay grain was unburnt. The forward motor block was also found in the wadding.
