Rocket made it about 8-feet AGL before coming back down in a cloud of smoke. Ejection charge blew parachute and electronics clear of the burning rocket. Smoke was followed by plume of flame from top of rocket. Casing was split lengthwise from end to end. Rocket was destroyed.
