The motor initially looked OK, until mid-launch rod. Then the ejection end blew out and violently propelled the motor out of the back of the rocket. It bounced off the angled steel blast plate on my launch rail and put a significant dent in it. I found the casing about 20 m away with impact damage on both ends.
