This motor was used in a "UFO style" rocket that had an open hole at the top to relieve ejection pressure, so no harm was done to the rocket. A split second after ignition, and before the rocket was past the end of the 1/8 inch rod, both ends of the motor blew out and a large fireball was launched into the air about 10 feet, burning up before hitting the ground. The rocket cleared the rod by a foot or two and simply tipped over to land next to the launch pads.
